Fireflies.ai joins your Zoom, Google Meet or Teams calls, records them, and writes a transcript, summary and action items. Here's who it's worth paying for.
FTC disclosure: FirstHire earns a commission if you sign up through some links on this page (Fireflies and Make), at no extra cost to you. That never changes our verdicts. How we make money.

Pricing (from Fireflies' billing help page, Nov 2026)
| Plan | Price per user |
|---|---|
| Free | $0 |
| Pro | $10/mo billed yearly, or $18 monthly |
| Business | $19/mo billed yearly, or $29 monthly |
Every teammate added to your workspace is a billable seat. You can share recap links with people outside your team for free. Summaries, transcripts and recap emails don't use AI credits; extras like AskFred and AI Skills do, and paid plans start with only 20-30 one-time credits.
Good for
- Owners who run many sales or client calls and forget follow-ups.
- Small teams that want searchable call notes.
- Sending the recap to a task tool automatically (see our Make starter scenarios).
Watch out for
- Seats add up: add only people who host meetings; share recaps with everyone else.
- AI credits run out fast if you lean on the chat assistant. Watch usage the first month.
- Tell attendees a bot is recording. Some states require all-party consent.
- Monthly billing costs much more than yearly; try monthly first, switch once you're sure.
Verdict
For a solo owner with several client calls a week, Pro is a reasonable buy. If you have fewer than 3 calls a week, the free plan is likely enough.
